Windward Technologies, Inc. (WTI) develops and markets advanced numerical and visualization software technologies. WTI's product line includes software for solving

nonlinear constrained optimization problems (GRG2)
nonlinear unconstrained optimization problems (Curvi)
linear programming problems (LP_QP_Solve)
quadratic programming problems. (LP_QP_Solve)

Optimization problems can be difficult and time consuming to solve and no single optimizer is best in all cases. This is why WTI offers a family of optimizers; GRG2, LSGRG2, Curvi, BCLS, RBFpack, and LP_QP_Solve (based on the interior point method used in BPMPD)

Each solver is designed to take advantage of specific problem characteristics. The special characteristics range from linearity of variables to sparsity of Jacobians.

We also offer software for multidimensional scattered data fitting that is based on radial basis function technology. This software works with our optimization software to solve a wide range of real-world problems.
